Abstract

Against the backdrop of deep integration between construction industrialization and green building, high-end public buildings impose higher demands on the functionality, aesthetics, and construction efficiency of prefabricated composite curtain walls. This paper addresses common industry challenges such as detailed design of complex-shaped components, optimization of multi-technology integrated processes, and hoisting of special structures, using the Western (Chongqing) Science City Convention Center project as an engineering case study. It systematically investigates key technologies including open self-cleaning curtain walls based on the rain-screen principle, multi-cavity energy-saving aluminum alloy windows, large-scale UHPC prefabricated components, and staggered cantilevered irregular structural curtain walls. Driven by BIM technology for parametric design, material performance innovation, and construction process breakthroughs, a comprehensive technical system encompassing detailed design, component prefabrication, and efficient installation has been developed. The research outcomes resolve engineering challenges such as precise construction of complex curved forms, integration of regional cultural elements, and adaptability to extreme environments, providing replicable technical solutions for similar high-end public construction projects while offering significant practical value for advancing the industrialization transformation of the curtain wall industry.
