- Abstract
The research focuses on designing and deploying IoT-based health monitoring and safety alert systems on cloud services, including real-time data access and emergency alerts on mobile application interfaces. Using an ESP32 microcontroller, the system acquires critical health parameters, such as body temperature, humidity, heart rate, and SpO2 levels through sensors, and securely sends these to the AWS cloud using the MQTTS protocol. The collected data is processed on AWS Lambda and stored in a MongoDB database, visualized on a mobile application created using Flutter. With Django in the backend, it possesses all permissions on data management, and safe storage, and even issues email alerts based on emergencies. Further, the system is equipped with a panic button functionality that will cater to an emergency alert based on location, thus an effective response if involving a woman especially. This paper highlights system architecture, data protocols, and implementations that provide scalability for remote health monitoring, personal safety, and emergency response.
