- Abstract
Dementia is a progressive neurological condition characterised by the impairment of memory, cognition, and daily functioning, thus posing challenges for both patients and caregivers. This solution proposes a smart; affordable system designed for dementia care. The solution leverages accessible technology and thoughtful design to improve the quality of life for patients and reduce stress on caregivers. By employing Firebase and Flutter for cross-platform development, the application offers a multitude of features, from memory recall to cognitive exercises. The assistive chatbot demonstrates a success rate of 85% and an average latency of 1386.41 ms in responding to user queries with context-aware text. This paper examines current approaches in dementia care and explains how this system builds upon those ideas to offer a practical and user-friendly solution for families and caregivers.
