Abstract

Presenting into AI: the face of AI in tourism. This study allows to further explore how a Smart tourism phenomenon affects the tourism system and tourism stakeholders through AI technology-based solutions. AI technologies (for example machine learning, data analytics and augmented reality), help tourism providers deliver more personalized recommendations, optimize services and enhance engagement of travellers. In this paper, they outline main advantages (personalized services, improved client experience, efficiency) and downsides (data privacy, technological complexity, integration into current systems) of AI adoption on the tourism sector. It also explores the potential of AI to help create sustainable, inclusive tourism models that bolster communities. It portrays AI as the response to the challenges of traditional tourism and imagines a future that has begun to integrate smart tourism, perhaps tailored tourism solutions more aligned with the needs of the individual tourist.
