Abstract

Emotion-savvy AIs can even change the course of humanity by bringing us better relations and a boost in mental health. Nonetheless, the attempts remain predominantly theoretical, with minimal real-life proceedings, recognition varies with cultures, and ethics are relegated to the back burner. Throughout this research, we provide an innovative AI framework for multimodal emotional intelligence through facial expressions, voice tone and physiological signals for a more emotionally aware and responsive AI system. This study also establishes a link between AI technology and human emotional needs by addressing biases in existing emotion recognition systems and developing methods to improve an ethical deployment of AI. The model also includes real-time and more dynamic monitoring, lightweight AI architectures to enable the processing of vast amounts of data in a more rapid way, and interventions such as AI-assisted mental health programs. These findings will inform the creation of AI systems that not only detect emotions but also respond proactively to them, enhancing meaningful human connections across the world. Moreover, this research proposes a benchmark for assessing the emotional intelligence of AI, establishing necessary criteria for future developments.
