Using qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, the thesis topics are analyzed and classified into several main categories: innovation in education, the utilization of technology in education, the preservation and development of local arts and culture, and the improvement of community welfare. The analysis results show that the majority of student research topics align with Universitas Negeri Medan vision to become an excellent university in education, globally competitive, and culturally characterized. Furthermore, these topics support Universitas Negeri Medan mission in developing quality education, utilizing technology, preserving local culture, and improving community welfare. The findings of this study provide a scientific foundation for Universitas Negeri Medan to continue encouraging student research that is relevant to societal needs and the advancement of knowledge.
