- Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the form of naming of the perpetrator himself and the victim through critical discourse analysis. Critical discourse analysis is used to dismantle certain powers implicit in the use of language. The practice of the power of the evildoer is obtained through discourse, that is, the vocabulary in the form of naming. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative. The data of this study is in the form of language vocabulary of criminals in child sex offenders in Indonesia. The findings of this study showed that the naming of âelementary school (SD)â victims was the largest, at 44%. Followed by the naming of the victim âneighbor girlâ, which is 1%. Furthermore, the naming of victims âloli and lolitaâ, which is 28% and the planting of victims âbocilâ, which is 10%. Then, the naming of the perpetrators of the crime is âpedo and pedophileâ, which is 13%. For the naming of the perpetrators of the crime âkibusâ, which is 3% and the naming of âlovers of young childrenâ and âjuraganâ as much as 1% each. The conclusion of this study is that the naming of victims dominates the naming of people in child sex offenders in Indonesia.
