Abstract

The architectural heritage of traditional villages in Lanzhou City contains profound historical, cultural and aesthetic education values. Based on the theory of embodied cognition, this study focuses on the interactive relationship between architectural heritage and human body perception and emotional experience, and analyzes the cultural characteristics and aesthetic value dimensions of architectural heritage through field research and data statistics. In terms of methodology, the study integrates 3D modeling, virtual reality, augmented reality and other digital translation technologies to build a multi-sensory interactive digital experience platform, forming a technical path between AR real-time positioning exhibition on Unity mobile terminal and VR immersive interaction on UE desktop terminal. It is found that the digital translation technology effectively reconstructs the embodied cognitive experience, alleviates the cognitive rupture problem in traditional architectural aesthetic education, and improves the public’s cultural identity and aesthetic quality of architectural heritage. This study provides a practical solution for the modern transformation of the aesthetic education function of architectural heritage, and also provides a scientific reference for the protection and aesthetic education dissemination of architectural heritage under the perspective of the integration of embodied cognition and digital technology.
