Abstract

Public open space is needed in each village or certain housing units utilization of public open space in certain villages or housing in the form of existing public facilities. Forms of public facilities in the form of public open spaces such as parks, fields, etc. In this activity, the research focuses on public open space in the form of a multifunction field in Tamansari Hills Housing. There are already two courts in blocks B and C, with approximately 200 family cards per block, so one more court is needed for residents of block A. Based on the situation that occurs in the neighborhood association block X area of Mangunharjo Village, Tamansari Hills Housing, the residents are mostly office workers and business people. Many of these people work with a high level of intensity and make homes and public facilities in the form of multifunction field in housing as a place to channel hobbies and stress. The form of multifunction field applied is through badminton and basketball sports. The purpose of the implementation is to implement the utilization of public open space in the form of a multifunction field for residents of Tamansari Hills Housing. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by emphasizing the usefulness of public open space in the form of a multifunction field for residents of neighborhood association block X Tamansari Hills Housing. The result of this research is that the multifunction field has benefits for residents of neighborhood association block X Tamansari Hills Housing.
