Abstract

Student safety remains a paramount concern for educational institutions, particularly during transit. This paper introduces Secure School, a comprehensive student safety management system that deploys Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to enhance monitoring, tracking, and predictive analysis within school environments, with a specific focus on transportation safety. SecureSchool features a centralized web application accessible to both school administrators and parents, offering real-time student location updates, predictive analytics for attendance tracking, and a robust emergency response system. Developed using TypeScript, Flask, and Supabase, SecureSchool creates a secure, scalable, and accessible platform for real-time data visualization and management. This paper examines the system architecture, methodology, and its potential impact on advancing safety standards within educational institutions, presenting SecureSchool as a forward-looking solution for student safety management in today’s technology-driven world.
