Strategies of Personalized Communication in Video Journalism Under Integrated Media

- Abstract
In today’s era of integrated media, jounalists are facing a new challenge of employing personalized narrative strategies to build a distinctive personal brand (or “IP”). This study aims to explore the personalized communication strategies in case of CCTV journalist Zhuang Shengchun and his two programs, Relativity and Shengchun Log. In addition, using content analysis method, this study quantitatively examines Zhuang’s personalized communication strategies and analyzes the differences in these strategies across the two types of news programs. The findings offer practical guidance for traditional journalists adapting to the digital media landscape and provide timely insights into the future of news production in the age of AI-generated content (AIGC).
