Abstract

The rapid development of digital technologies is transforming traditional corporate management models. Technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence have improved the efficiency of information transmission, compelling enterprises to enhance their decision-making speed and market responsiveness. Flat management can reduce hierarchies and strengthen collaboration. This paper analyzes the impact of digital transformation on flat management from three dimensions: technological empowerment, organizational restructuring, and cultural reshaping. Technology breaks information monopolies and enables data-driven decision support; dynamic teams and project-based systems break down functional silos; a culture of trust and employee empowerment revitalizes the organization. Based on this analysis, the paper proposes three principles for constructing flat management mechanisms: agility, data transparency, and balance between authority and responsibility. It then designs specific mechanisms in terms of technical support, organizational configuration, and process simplification. The implementation path emphasizes a gradual approach. To address issues such as managerial power delegation, employee capability matching, and data security risks, the paper proposes countermeasures including the establishment of a digital training system, phased authorization rules, and improved risk control mechanisms.
