- Abstract
Knowledge graphs have emerged as a primary technology for AI-driven educational course reform. Specifically, the integration of a course knowledge graph facilitates rapid comprehension of the course’s knowledge framework, educational materials, and knowledge interconnections. Moreover, it facilitates the customization of learning paths and knowledge recommendations. Using the course of Principles and Engineering of Command Information System as a case study, this study presents a methodology for developing and implementing a course knowledge graph. Initially, the conceptual framework and development approach of the course knowledge graph are outlined. Subsequently, the construction process of the course knowledge graph is elucidated through examples of course content and knowledge points. Lastly, the paper explores the application of the course knowledge graph across various stages of course learning. Empirical evidence from teaching practices demonstrates that the course knowledge graph aids students in comprehending the course’s knowledge structure, identifying key concepts, and accessing a diverse array of precise learning resources. Consequently, it significantly enhances the relevance and efficacy of students’ learning experiences.
