- Abstract
Pumped storage power stations are vital for achieving China’s “dual carbon” goals and building a new energy system. This study develops an investment cost pricing linkage model for these stations, using system dynamics theory and Vensim software. A simulation analysis of a typical pumped storage station is conducted. Key findings include: First, the simulation of the pricing system demonstrates strong authenticity, accurately reflecting variable trends. Second, the model can dynamically simulate future electricity prices and variable levels, providing valuable guidance for managers to optimize operational strategies and secure better electricity pricing.
