Abstract

This paper discusses the key steps and methods of business process architecture design in the digital transformation of engineering project construction, responding to the promotion of digital upgrading of state-owned enterprises by national policies. According to the business architecture model of Huawei, the process architecture is subdivided into six layers. As the core of the business architecture, the L1-L3 layers provide basic input for the information, application and technology architecture. Through the understanding of engineering project construction business, this paper puts forward a four-stage and twenty-step process architecture design method, from understanding business strategy to process architecture design, refinement, verification and optimization, and finally release and implement. Process design helps to realize the implementation of Project strategy, strengthen the management coherence, promote the efficient allocation of resources, and improve the standardization and refinement level of project management. Especially in the process architecture verification stage, the effectiveness and practicability of process design are ensured through cross-departmental cooperation, problem identification, optimization and adjustment. This paper summarizes the established process architecture system, which provides a solid foundation for the digital transformation of engineering project construction, and emphasizes the importance of continuous optimization and innovation to promote the high-quality development of construction industry.
