- Abstract
Organ donation saves thousands of lives every year and is an essential part of healthcare system around the world. However, doubts about data privacy have surfaced as the management of organ donation procedures has become more dependent on digital health care system. The ethical, legal, and technical aspects of data privacy in relation to organ donation are examined in this study article. It examines the legislative frameworks pertaining to patient privacy, the handling of personal data in organ donor registries, the function of technology in the matching process, and the advantages and disadvantages of digital technologies in organ donation. The study also addresses methods for enhancing data privacy without sacrificing the effectiveness of organ donation initiatives.
