- Abstract
Problem-based learning is an important lesson for the younger generation in training higher thinking processes. This study was to see how PBL influences students’ HOTS at the universities where PBL is conducted. The data collection instrument used the HOTS test. This research is A descriptive research. The sample in this study were 100 students of the Faculty of Economics, Padang State University. The results of this study indicate that students are able to experience an increase in higher-order thinking patterns after attending lectures using PBL. PBL strategy is able to make students active in solving problems. So that creativity and innovation emerge from students.
