- Abstract
Utilizing an HTML5-based web browser is a program that can be used to overcome learning media problems. The advantages of this program include the small file size and the ability to access it from anywhere using a laptop, smartphone or similar device. Besides that, it can be accessed without using third-party applications so that it saves more Internet bandwidth. The research and development model is based on the ADDIE research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) Results From the results of the qualification test research obtained from material experts, media, and field test of class X SMA Pariaman students in general indicate that the characteristics of learning media can be seen from the practicality and effectiveness of the use of media. Based on the development steps and the results of trials of HTML 5 Web-based economics learning media in class X SMA Pariaman it can be concluded that the economics learning media developed is very valid after validation. The evaluation was conducted by three media and material specialists. Practicality questionnaire results of 90% show the effectiveness of the media in improving student learning outcomes.
