- Abstract
On a worldwide scale, the combination of information technology (IT) and artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the criminal justice system and law enforcement. Digital technology and AI-driven solutions offer great promise for enhancing public safety, crime prevention, and investigation in Jammu and Kashmir, where police face particular difficulties. This paper investigates how local policing is being modernized using artificial intelligence and information technology in an effort to address issues such as cybercrime, terrorism, and maintenance of public order. It also emphasizes the advantages and potential future developments of technology-driven changes to the criminal justice system of Jammu and Kashmir.
