Abstract

The aim of the study is to study the quality of life of patients with thyroid nodules in the Kashkadarya region using the author’s RTQoL (Reproductive and Thyroid Quality of Life) questionnaire. A total of 491 women of reproductive age (prospectively) with thyroid nodules (TN) were examined in the period from 2014 to 2024 in the Kashkadarya branch of the Republican Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan named after Academician E.Kh. Turakulov. The average age of the patients was 36.2 ± 5.2 years. The control group consisted of 20 healthy women of the corresponding age. It was found that the overall score of the RTQoL questionnaire in the study group was within the range70.5±8.8 points, which corresponds to severe disorders, high clinical significance, and the need for specialized care. In the control group, the overall score on this questionnaire was within4.3±1.5 (normal). Assessment of the quality of life of women of childbearing age with UOT using the author’s questionnaire RTQoL is an important monitoring tool that allows improving health through targeted study of complaints and selection of necessary treatment measures.
