Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the design language of cartoon images in children’s online education applications. The aim is to investigate the strategies and approaches used in designing cartoon images for children’s online education platforms. The study involved the collection of cartoon images from various domestic and international online education applications. Quantitative measurements were conducted using graphic measurement tools to gather relevant data on the modeling of these cartoon images. Subsequently, an analysis was performed by considering children’s aesthetic preferences and theories of cartoon design art. This analysis focused on exploring the prototypes, color trends, and structural proportions of cartoon images used in children’s education applications. The study culminated in a summary of the distinctive features and similarities in cartoon image design between domestic and international contexts. Through case studies and investigations, the study validated the effectiveness of using role modeling language in children’s education. The findings of this research offer novel insights for enhancing the design of cartoon images for children’s online education platforms.
