- Abstract
Bone artifacts from the Neolithic era, particularly bone musical instruments, constitute an important component of Neolithic art, serve as a crucial reference for the development of contemporary musical instrument design, and also represent a significant form of aesthetic expression. This paper conducts an investigative study of a large number of bone artifacts unearthed from the Neolithic era, employing literature analysis to summarize and analyze the developmental trajectory of bone musical instrument design, uncover the aesthetic ideas embedded within bone musical instruments, and further reveal the interplay between the development of ancient societal technology, musical culture, aesthetic ideology, and social structure. It constructs a clear theoretical framework and developmental trajectory for the evolution of Neolithic bone musical instruments, laying a systematic foundation for future musical instrument product development and design.
