- Abstract
Inclusive finance is designed to offer accessible, efficient, and affordable financial services to every stratum of society, with a particular focus on low-income and disadvantaged populations. Since 2013, the Chinese government has placed a high priority on and vigorously supported the growth of inclusive finance, leading to an expansion in service reach, a rise in participation levels, and a marked enhancement in service outcomes. Currently, the progression of inclusive finance is encountering challenges such as an incomplete legal framework, a lack of product innovation, a limited business model, and inadequate financial education. In light of these issues, this paper proposes relevant strategies and recommendations, including the improvement of legal regulations, the enhancement of product innovation, the refinement of business models, and the conduct of financial education campaigns, all aimed at fostering the sustainable and robust development of inclusive finance in China. The goal is to achieve widespread and equitable access to financial services and to contribute to the comprehensive advancement of the economy and society.
