It gives us immense pleasure to present the Proceedings of the International Conference of Library & Technology on Artificial Intelligence and Humanities in Library and Education 4.0. This conference serves as a multidisciplinary platform that brings together scholars, academicians, researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to explore the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across libraries, humanities, engineering, science, and education.

The rapid advancement of AI-driven technologies is reshaping the ways knowledge is created, organized, accessed, and disseminated. In this context, the conference provides an opportunity to delve into the innovative applications of AI that are redefining traditional library services, enhancing research capabilities, and enabling new learning paradigms. From intelligent cataloging systems and smart digital preservation to personalized learning environments and virtual library ecosystems, the discussions reflect the dynamic intersections of technology and human-centered design.

A significant focus of the conference is placed on ethical and responsible AI for sustainable development. With topics addressing data privacy, security, transparency, algorithmic bias, and human–AI collaboration, the conference underscores the importance of adopting AI solutions that promote trust, accountability, and long-term sustainability. Participants engage with diverse themes including AI for environmental sustainability, AI for social equity and inclusion, and the role of AI in driving innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth within library and knowledge sectors.

Another enriching dimension of this conference is the exploration of AI’s impact on the humanities, particularly English studies. Topics such as English in the Digital Age, Narrative Networks, Literature and Global Transformation, Borderless Books, and The Future of Literary Movements highlight how digital tools, machine learning models, and virtual platforms are shaping reading practices, storytelling traditions, critical thinking, and creative expression. These discussions reaffirm the enduring relevance of the humanities in an age of automation and technological acceleration.

The conference further extends its scope to include emerging technologies in libraries, such as RFID systems, mobile applications, cloud computing, and ICT-based solutions. It examines how these tools enhance user experience, streamline library operations, and strengthen sustainable knowledge management practices. By bringing together voices from libraries, engineering, education, and humanities, the conference fosters a holistic understanding of how AI can be harnessed for social good, inclusive development, and global transformation.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to all contributors—authors, reviewers, keynote speakers, session chairs, organizing committee members, and participating institutions—whose dedicated efforts have made this event intellectually enriching and impactful. The papers included in this proceeding represent diverse insights, rigorous research, and forward-looking ideas that will inspire future developments in AI-driven library and educational ecosystems.

We hope that this proceeding will serve as a valuable resource for researchers, educators, librarians, technologists, and policy-makers, and will stimulate further dialogue, innovation, and collaboration in this rapidly evolving landscape.
