Abstract

This study focuses on the research of low-carbon tourism in eight ethnic minority settlements covered by Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park. The development of a low-carbon tourism economy in Hainan’s ethnic areas has advantages and disadvantages, as well as opportunities and challenges. Through SWOT analysis, this paper explores development strategies to promote the realization of a low-carbon tourism economy in the region.
