Website: https://bic.ub.ac.id/ We were delighted to publish the proceedings of the 2024 Brawijaya International Conference (the 2023 BIC), which was held in Batam, Indonesia, from November 21–22, 2024, under the theme of “Artificial Intelligence at the Crossroads: Building a Sustainable Future.” We were also grateful to all distinguished participants for contributing to the conference. There were around 82 participants who presented and discussed their work on a wide variety of topics across different disciplines. It was worth noting that we had the opportunity to thank our keynote speaker, Prof. Ir. Wayan Firdaus Mahmudy, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Center at Universitas Brawijaya. Also, we also gratefully thank our invited speakers, Prof. Dr. Benedict Sheehy from the University of Canberra, Australia; Victor Kryssanov from Ritsumeikan University, Japa; Prof. Dr. Miroslav Marković from Academy of Applied Studies Sumadija, Serbia; Assoc. Prof. Dr. John Francis L. Faustorilla Jr. from the University of the Philippines, Philippines; Dr. Nongnuch Ketui from Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Thailand.
