- Abstract
This study prepared biochar from cow dung pyrolysis. Through a pot experiment, the effects of different combined application ratios (15% biochar + 85% organic fertilizer as Treatment A, 25% biochar + 75% organic fertilizer as Treatment B) on soil physicochemical properties were analyzed. The results showed that the combined application of cow dung biochar and organic fertilizer significantly increased soil organic matter. Treatment B showed a 65.6% increase in organic matter, indicating a significant carbon sequestration effect of biochar. Considering the comprehensive impact on nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) content in the soil, Treatment A demonstrated more significant effects. For soil fertilization in the study area, the combined application of 15% biochar + 85% organic fertilizer (Treatment A) is recommended for improvement.
