Abstract

Vivienne Westwood’s gradual growth from a street subculture representative to an evergreen tree among high-end clothing brands is inseparable from its rich brand heritage and pioneering spirit. This article uses the Saturn symbol, a visual totem of the iconic brand spirit, as a perspective to delve into the underlying reasons why it inspires people and motivate them to pursue it, and combines text analysis to interpret the growth path of this rebellious brand. The study found that the two-way meaning carried by the Saturn symbol perfectly connects the revolution of historical and modern thoughts, thereby causing cultural resonance and injecting fresh inspiration and thinking perspectives into the industry. Because of its timely and innovative discussion of social issues, its success is inevitable. The orb is a carrier with a symbolic and appropriate meaning that aligns with the brand spirit. It is highly dynamic and capable of constantly absorbing new ideas to sustain the vitality of Vivienne Westwood.
