- Abstract
Against the integration of China’s cultural power strategy and digital economy, Jilin Province—with profound cultural heritage and animation industry foundations—has unique animation cultural genes. Based on cultural gene theory (Dawkins, 1976) and industrial integration theory, this paper excavates Jilin’s core animation cultural genes, analyzes their cross-field integration status and dilemmas, and proposes solutions. It finds Jilin has three gene clusters (natural geography, historical humanities, film-television heritage) and initial integration experience in “animation + cultural tourism/technology/education”, but faces superficial transformation and insufficient collaboration. Countermeasures include decoding cultural symbols, building integration paths, and optimizing industrial ecology to support Jilin’s Northeast Asian animation highland construction.
