Abstract

This paper focuses on the complex environmental characteristics of deserts and explores in depth the application of mechanized equipment for overhead transmission lines. Based on this, evaluation criteria for mechanical equipment suitable for desert environments are developed. A comprehensive model covering the entire process of assessing the level of mechanized construction in desert areas was constructed by using a mechanization rate evaluation method, and integrate the construction of transmission lines, the influencing factors of desert environment and the mechanical assessment model. The research takes the towers that meet the evaluation criteria in the desert as the basic statistical unit, calculates the average score of each sub process based on the actual application of mechanized equipment during the construction process, and then determines the overall mechanization rate of a single project. This model comprehensively considers the particularity of desert environment and the application of mechanized equipment in various construction stages, which helps to more accurately and comprehensively measure the degree of construction mechanization, and provides a scientific and systematic theoretical framework for evaluating the level of mechanized construction of overhead transmission lines in desert areas.
