- Abstract
As a fast - growing global aviation market, China’s aviation industry has shifted from backwardness to world - leading, contributing significantly to the global aviation sector. Yet, airport operational safety faces new challenges as airport pavement infrastructure endures multiple service pressures, causing faster performance degradation. This paper presents the concept of airport pavement resilience, concentrating on the service pressure of cement concrete pavements at airports. A finite element model is built to analyze factors influencing concrete pavements and quantitatively study runway lifespan extension, offering a reference for related airport work.
