Abstract

Artificial intelligence and machine learning have become popular tools for smart development in society. AI and ML are not only helping to solve the problem but also predicting and analyzing futuristic aspects. This study provides how machine learning is important for smart city development and it futuristic challenges. Smart cities are an important agenda of SDG-2030. A sustainable society is an important challenge of SDG-2030 which can be achieved through technology in the transportation system, healthcare sectors, etc. Machine learning played a huge role in the development of urbanization. Many applications and datasets are used for smart city development, analysis of situations, and prediction of results. This research discovers the role of smart AI and ML in smart city development. The study emphasized the concept of ML method and its use in smart city development. This study finds the existing datasets and applications used in smart city development. A study has found the use of AI and ML in society since 2004. The study emphasized the future challenges of AI and ML in smart city development.
