Abstract

Based on data from A-share listed firms in Sichuan Province (2015–2025), this study constructs a supply chain resilience index covering resistance, recovery, and development capabilities. Empirical results show that AI application significantly enhances enterprise supply chain resilience, with robustness confirmed through various tests and instrumental variable methods. Mechanism analysis reveals three mediating paths: internal resource integration, external resource integration, and market competitiveness. Heterogeneity analysis indicates that the positive effect of AI is stronger in non-state-owned enterprises, technology-intensive firms, and those with higher digital transformation levels. These findings provide strategic insights for building secure and stable supply chains under overlapping risks and offer policy implications for differentiated industrial policies and the development of digital-intelligent supply chains.
