The 2026 12th International Conference on Digital Humanities and Frontiers in Social Sciences (DHFSS 2026) was held from May 29 to 31, 2026, in Beijing, China. This edition brought together scholars and practitioners from across the globe to address pressing questions in education, psychology, social sciences, humanities, and interdisciplinary studies. The conference provided a forum for the exchange of research findings, the discussion of emerging methodologies, and the exploration of cross-disciplinary connections. The gathering underscored the continuing relevance of rigorous inquiry into human behavior, social structures, cultural expression, and educational practice. By facilitating dialogue among academics, engineers, and research professionals, the conference contributed to the advancement of knowledge in areas that directly inform policy, pedagogy, and public understanding. The proceedings reflect the breadth and depth of contemporary scholarship in these vital fields.

The conference featured four distinguished speakers whose keynote and invited addresses spanned organizational psychology, digital finance, strategic resource management, and educational innovation. Assoc. Prof. Zhiqiang Luan from China Agricultural University presented "Research on the Breach of Implicit Psychological Contracts in the Digital Age and the Governance of Employees' Pro-Organizational Unethical Behavior—A New Perspective Based on Cross-Cultural Organizational Behavior," exploring behavioral dynamics in cross-cultural workplaces. Dr. Hadwyn Chen of Macquarie University and Agree Technology examined the convergence of technology and commerce in "AI and Digital-Intelligent Supply Chain Finance: Today's Reality or Tomorrow's Prospect? —A Promising Future, Yet Marked by Uncertainty, Complexity, and Formidable Challenges." Prof. Peter Shi from Macquarie University discussed shifting global trade patterns in "From Cost Competition to Strategic Competition: The New Game of Global Critical Minerals Supply Chains." Prof. Zhenyuan Liu of Wuhan University of Technology offered an invited perspective on pedagogical transformation through "Research Hotspots and Trends in University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in the Context of the Digital Economy: A Visual Analysis Based on CiteSpace." Collectively, these contributions reinforced the conference's interdisciplinary scope and demonstrated how rigorous scholarship in human behavior, technological adaptation, and institutional change informs both academic discourse and practical policy frameworks.
