- Abstract
By analyzing the current situation of public English teaching and learning in higher vocational colleges, this paper proposes integrating content-based instruction with language teaching to give full play to the learning advantages of vocational college students, stimulate their learning initiative, and enable them to acquire language naturally in the process of gaining knowledge, thereby achieving optimal learning outcomes. Furthermore, this study proposes pathways of public English teaching reform in higher vocational colleges.
