Visualization Analysis of HPV Vaccination Research Based on VOSviewer and CiteSpace

Abstract

This study performed a bibliometric and visualization analysis of HPV vaccination research using VOSviewer and CiteSpace based on the Web of Science Core Collection and CNKI database. A total of 2,114 English and 597 Chinese articles were included. Publication output increased significantly for both languages. Web of Science indexed literature formed an academic community centered on Zimet GD, Brewer NT, and Reiter PL with extensive cross-team collaboration; CNKI indexed Chinese literature centered on Qiao Youlin, Li Jing, and Zhao Fanghui with weaker inter-institutional linkages. The global network is regionally structured, with high-income countries at the core. High-frequency Web of Science indexed literature keywords include human papillomavirus, cervical cancer, knowledge, vaccine hesitancy; CNKI indexed Chinese literature keywords include human papillomavirus, cognition, cervical cancer, influencing factors, willingness to vaccinate. Clusters in both literatures fall into three similar thematic categories. Vaccine hesitancy is the latest frontier of common concern.
