Abstract

A deep understanding of the “two major situations” by leading cadres helps determine the direction and strategy for the development of the Party and the country. From historical perspective, that accurately grasp China’s development and its position in the world, reflecting a new height of contemporary Chinese Marxism; from theoretical perspective, that involve the interaction between China and the world, representing a dialectical unity; from practical perspective, leading cadres need to deeply understand that to promote national rejuvenation, applying Marxist dialectical thinking to understand the connections between domestic and international affairs, historical reality, goals, strategic bottom lines, opportunities, and risks.
