The challenges of modern urban development demand innovative solutions that not only accommodate the needs of communities but also prioritize environmental sustainability and resource efficiency. The 3rd International Conference on Green Building, Civil Engineering, and Smart City (GBCESC 2024) was successfully held in Kunming, China, from July 22 to 25, 2024, in a hybrid format, allowing both physical and virtual participation. This annual event serves as a global platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange the latest advancements, ideas, and practical applications in green building, civil engineering, and smart city technologies.
