Website: https://bme-conference.upi.edu/2024/ The 9th UPI Global Conference on Business, Management, and Entrepreneurship (UPI–GCBME 2024), organized by the Business Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, was successfully held with the valuable support of co-host institutions: Institut Pendidikan Indonesia, Universitas Garut, Universitas Cipasung, and Universitas Logistik dan Bisnis Internasional. The conference continued our shared commitment to nurturing a robust academic culture, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and advancing scholarly engagement in the evolving fields of business, management, and entrepreneurship. Anchored on the theme “Business Transformation to Survive in the Digital Age”, this year’s conference responded to the urgent need for organizations to adapt and innovate in response to digital disruption, economic volatility, and shifting consumer behavior. The conference was envisioned as a dynamic platform to exchange ideas, share empirical insights, and forge collaborative networks among academics, practitioners, and students from diverse cultural and institutional backgrounds. This academic gathering attracted a broad array of participants—educators, researchers, scholars, graduate students, policymakers, and business professionals— originating from multiple regions across Indonesia and several countries, including Ghana, Malaysia, China, Hungary, Thailand, and Uzbekistan. A total of 208 individuals took part in the conference, either as paper presenters or participants, reflecting the international scope and relevance of the event. To ensure academic rigor, a total of 130 papers were selected through a strict peer-review process. These papers covered a diverse range of subfields, including Organizational Behavior, Leadership and Human Resource Management, Innovation, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management and Accounting, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and Contemporary Issues, Economics Education, and Green Business. This rich diversity of topics underscores the multidimensional nature of current academic discourse and the relevance of interdisciplinary approaches in solving today’s complex business challenges. In line with our commitment to promoting high-impact scholarship, selected papers—after undergoing revision and a double-blind review process—have been recommended for publication in the proceedings indexed by Atlantis Press under Springer Nature. All accepted articles will receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), and the proceedings will be submitted for indexing in Scopus, Google Scholar, and Web of Science (ISI) databases, including CAB Abstracts. These efforts are intended to enhance the visibility, credibility, and global accessibility of the scholarly work presented at the conference. The success of this conference would not have been possible without the dedicated work of the organizing committee and the invaluable contributions of our reviewers. Their expertise and commitment ensured the academic quality and operational excellence of the event. We are especially honored by the participation of Dr. Nezar Patria, S.Fil., M.Sc., M.B.A., Vice Minister of Communications and Informatics, who delivered an inspiring keynote speech that set the tone for critical dialogue and reflection. We are also deeply grateful to our distinguished invited speakers: Assoc. Prof. Dr. habil Péter Kovács (University of Szeged), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Slobodan Popovi´c (University of Belgrade), Dr. Denny Andriana, S.E., Ak., MBA., Ph.D. (FPEB UPI), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zuraidah Sulaiman (Universiti Teknologi Malaysia). Their insightful contributions not only enriched the academic discourse but also expanded the intellectual horizons of all participants. In closing, we express our sincere appreciation to all delegates for their active participation, thoughtful engagement, and meaningful contributions throughout the event. We hope that this conference offered not only academic enrichment but also memorable cultural experiences during your visit to the city of Bandung, a city known for its warmth, hospitality, and creativity. We look forward to continuing this tradition of academic excellence and collaboration in the future editions of UPI–GCBME. With Warm Regards Ratih Hurriyati
