- Abstract
Accurate ground stress field modeling is essential for the design and construction of underground engineering projects. This paper presents a regression-based method for ground stress field inversion, employing least squares fitting to enhance precision and efficiency in stress field modeling. By selecting appropriate linear and nonlinear stress functions, this approach allows for adaptable modeling depending on geological complexity. A detailed case study is presented to demonstrate the application and effectiveness of this method, verifying its feasibility in underground engineering.
