It is by His grace and guidance that the Faculty of Public Health, Halu Oleo University, has successfully organized The 2nd Halu Oleo International Conference on Public Health (HOICPH) on 26 September 2024 in Kendari, Sulawesi Tenggara 93121, Indonesia with the theme “Trends and Issues on Global Health.” This international conference served as a scientific forum to share knowledge, research findings, and practical experiences from researchers, academics, practitioners, and policy makers across various institutions and countries. The focus and scope of the conference included Biostatistics and Population, Environmental Health, Health Promotion, Nutrition, Occupational Health and Safety, Health Administration and Policy, Epidemiology, Child and Maternal Health, as well as Medical and Health Science. These areas represent the key pillars of public health that are essential in addressing global health challenges in the post-pandemic era. Through the presentation of scientific papers, literature reviews, and community-based practices, the conference fostered critical dialogue and interdisciplinary collaboration. The contributions compiled in this proceeding reflect a shared commitment to advancing public health knowledge and practice, and are expected to enrich the global discourse on public health resilience and innovation. We extend our sincere gratitude to all keynote speakers, presenters, reviewers, participants, and organizing committee members who have worked earnestly to ensure the success of this event and the publication of the proceeding.
