- Abstract
Under the background of cultural power, red culture, as a unique cultural heritage in China, carries rich historical significance and revolutionary spirit. With the rapid development of the expressway network, the service area, as a rest place during the journey, the landscape design is not only related to the experience of passengers, but also an important window for the dissemination of local culture. This study focuses on the innovative application of red culture elements in the landscape design of expressway service area, and selects the Xuanhua store service area of Wuhan Expressway as the case study object. On the basis of refining the historical significance and modern value of red culture, explore the landscape design strategy, and systematically optimize the environmental quality and tourist experience of the service area, so as to realize the inheritance and modern expression of red culture.
