Abstract

This study explores the influence of the appearance and attitude of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) on public service quality in the General Bureau of West Sulawesi Province. It emphasizes the role of training in shaping ASN behavior and professionalism, which significantly impacts public perceptions of service delivery. The research employs observation, interviews, and document analysis of service regulations to assess the effectiveness of service excellence training. Findings indicate that such training enhances ASN professionalism by improving their neatness, friendliness, and overall demeanor, fostering a positive public image and increasing guest satisfaction. Additionally, the study highlights that regulations supporting service standards further reinforce ASN professionalism and service quality. These findings underscore the necessity of continuous training programs to maintain and improve public service delivery. Ensuring that ASN receive ongoing professional development will sustain high service standards, strengthen public trust, and enhance the overall efficiency of government services in the General Bureau of West Sulawesi Province.
