The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Hasanuddin (FEB Unhas), is honored to present the proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Economics, Management, and Accounting (ICAME). This annual event has once again served as a vital platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to engage in meaningful discussions on pressing economic and business challenges. This year’s theme, The Integration of Blue-Green Economy & Business for Sustainability, reflects our commitment to fostering sustainable economic growth while addressing the environmental concerns of our time.

As the oldest school of economics in Indonesia, FEB Unhas has played a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s economic landscape by producing high-caliber graduates and pioneering impactful research. Universitas Hasanuddin, as one of Indonesia’s foremost institutions of higher education, holds a strategic position in advancing academic excellence and societal progress. Particularly in the eastern region of Indonesia, Unhas stands as the most prominent university, driving innovation and sustainable development across diverse sectors.

The urgency to address climate change has never been more apparent, necessitating a paradigm shift towards environmentally responsible economic models. The integration of the Blue and Green Economy represents a crucial step in this direction, leveraging the sustainable use of marine and terrestrial resources while promoting eco-friendly business practices. By exploring innovative policies, financial mechanisms, and corporate strategies, this conference has provided invaluable insights that contribute to both academic discourse and practical solutions for sustainability.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all contributors, presenters, and participants for their dedication in making this conference a success. We also appreciate the efforts of our esteemed organizing committee, reviewers, and partners who have worked tirelessly to uphold the quality and impact of this event. It is our hope that the research and discussions presented here will inspire continued advancements in sustainable economic practices and policies.
