- Abstract
This investigation seeks to explore the relationship between work experience and employee performance within the Regional Disaster Management Agency Office of Selayar Islands Regency. The methodological framework employed in this study is a quantitative paradigm. Data were collected utilizing a questionnaire technique, and the research implemented an interactive model engaging with respondents. The data provided by the respondents were subsequently processed employing data analysis techniques, specifically utilizing SPSS. Upon analyzing the acquired data, the t-value for Variable X is determined to be 5.095, with a significance value of 0.000. Given that the t-value of 5.095 exceeds the t-table value of 2.00958, and the significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05, based on the criteria for decision-making in the t-test, it can be inferred that the hypothesis is validated. This indicates that the findings of the research regarding the impact of work experience on employee performance at the Regional Disaster Management Agency Office of Selayar Islands Regency reveal that work experience exerts a positive and statistically significant influence on employee performance at the office.
