Abstract

This study aimed to examine the impact of Job Placement and Work Stress on Turnover Intention among employees at BPJS Kesehatan, Main Branch Office Makassar. A quantitative research design was adopted, utilizing a survey method that involved 51 permanent employees as respondents. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression to determine the influence of both Job Placement and Work Stress on Turnover Intention. The results showed that Job Placement had a significant negative effect on Turnover Intention, indicating that employees placed in positions matching their qualifications and competencies are less likely to leave the organization. Conversely, Work Stress exhibited a significant positive effect on Turnover Intention, suggesting that employees experiencing higher levels of stress are more inclined to consider leaving their jobs. These findings emphasize the importance of effective job placement strategies and comprehensive stress management programs to mitigate turnover intention and enhance organizational stability, which are crucial for maintaining a productive workforce in BPJS Kesehatan.
