- Abstract
Compensation provision remains a challenge in the wage system for fulfilling job satisfaction among workers in carrying out their duties. Based on this issue, the researcher conducted a study aimed at determining the influence of compensation on the job satisfaction of daily freelance workers at the Environmental Agency of Jeneponto Regency. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The sampling technique applied was non-probability sampling, specifically using accidental sampling. A sample of 67 respondents was taken from a population of 139 workers. The analysis method used in this research is simple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The results of the study indicate that, based on the coefficient of determination analysis (R2), a value of 0.451 or 45.1% was obtained, indicating a moderate level of influence or relationship. Based on the significance value (0.101 > 0.05), this shows that compensation has a moderate and significant influence on job satisfaction.
