Abstract

Personnel in security guard posts are protected from gunshots and explosives while on duty. Hence, compared to traditional prefabricated huts, these are called “Bulletproof Security Guard Posts.” The best way to secure access to high-risk locations, such as government buildings and military bases, is to install bulletproof security cabinets. Since security guards and officers are typically the greatest way to prevent crimes, security yards are considered the center of any security system. These bulletproof booths may be quickly and easily constructed anywhere without infrastructure because they are lightweight and movable. In this study, bulletproof guard posts are made using Kevlar, polyurethane, and hardener materials. Kevlar Fiber can be utilized as reinforcement, and Polyurethane can be used as a polymer matrix in Polymer Matrix Composites. The polyurethane matrix has great tensile and impact strength, making it resistant to bullets. Kevlar is a synthetic fiber that does not break readily; rather, it absorbs and distributes force throughout its structure. Polyurethane and Kevlar are less expensive than other materials. After selecting the materials, the panels are prepared and mechanically tested. Finally, the guard post is being manufactured.
