- Abstract
Manado State Polytechnic has the main goal of implementing sustainability systems by applying the green architecture concept when building its facilities, including the Integrated Laboratory & Workshop which is still under Design Recognition. This research aims to assess the sustainability value of this building by looking at various categories i.e., Appropriate Site Development (ASD), Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC), Material Resources and Cycle (MRC), Indoor Health and Comfort (IHC), and Building Environment Management (BEM) based on the Green ship Rating Tool. The results show that a total score of 26 points out of 77 maximum points for the Integrated Laboratory and Workshop under the DR stage was obtained with a percentage value of 33.76%. Some recommendations have been proposed focusing on the architectural design and management aspects. This reference value can be used as a standard to improve the Integrated Laboratory and Workshop’s performance at Manado State Polytechnic in relation to the sustainability criteria in order to reach a certain level of Green Ship certification.
