Abstract

The selection process for participants in the D2 Computer Network Administration Study Program requires an integrated, efficient, and transparent system to ensure the quality of human resources who will follow the program. This research aims to design and develop a web-based selection system directly connected to the industrial internship information system. This system integrates a registration module, the online implementation of selection tests, and automatic score processing. The development method used is the waterfall, starting from needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The CodeIgniter framework is used for backend development, while Bootstrap is utilized for a responsive user interface. One of the advantages of this system is its ability to integrate data of graduating prospective students directly into the industrial internship system, thereby minimizing the re-input process and accelerating the administrative stages. System testing using the black box method showed a functional success rate of 100%. This result proves that the system is capable of supporting the selection process automatically, reducing manual administrative work, and increasing speed and accuracy in decision-making. Integration with the existing system also went smoothly.
